Musing Mystics-
- Learned about fifth and sixth chakra
- Did breathing exercises to work on the throat (an essential organ of this chakra)
- Did a guided meditation to channel other essential aspects of this chakra and explore within us
- Did a series of yoga poses & breathing exercises
- Went to the Eastman Gardens and did a meditation to explore questions within us and find guidance to answer them
- Talked about female archetypes
Afternoon Classes
Directing for Film and Video-
- Outlining
- Location
- Scouting
- Story boards
Finding Character Through Improv-
- Played “The Preacher’s Cat” (an improv game)
- Played “Bibbly Bibbly Bop” (another improv game)
- Played “Calvin Ball” (an improvisation exercise)
- Listened to “The More Lightly” and wrote a piece of writing based on whatever we wanted to, using the song as inspiration. Then, we shared the stories with each other
- Reviewed the improv games we will be performing in front of an audience on Friday and casted different people for each game- then spent the remaining time in class rehearsing
