- Wrote a collaborative poem beginning with the words, “I am a woman who…” and shared them.
- Discussed the fourth chakra- Anahata- the heart chakra, and talked about unconditional love
- Did a series of yoga poses followed by a “Love and Kindness” meditation and exercise this chakra
- Wrote a forgiveness poem

Finding Character Through Improv-
- Discussed each others’ stories and everyone chose a specific character from each story to embody
- Were placed in situations irrelevant to the original stories- but still had to portray the character
- Discussed how each character would react in specific situations
- Shared our favorite books with each other and chose our favorite character and identified its distinct characteristics
- Played “Scene Three Ways”- a character improv game
- Played “Freeze!”- another improv exercise that will be played in front of an audience
- Played “Spelling Bee”
